Christmas in St. Augustine, FL

We decided to take a last minute trip to St. Augustine, FL for Christmas vacation. 2025 was full of long weekend trips and we just felt like we needed a real break before the New Year started. St. Augustine has been on our list for quite some time, so it seemed like the perfect destination for us. We got lucky and found a site at North Beach Camp Resort in Vilano Beach, which is roughly 4 miles from the historic district of St. Augustine. The campground itself is also situated in between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal waterway so the location was perfect. There were even 2 restaurants within walking distance. We spent a couple of days exploring St. Augustine and taking in all of the sights and the remaining time relaxing on the beach, enjoying our campsite, and taking Dolly for stroller rides under the live oaks and Spanish moss. We had an amazing time and are already contemplating our next trip back!
